1. Escape and a long journey
Avias and Desoto escape the humans but loose Desoto's father

The little family, consisting of three wolves, lived peacefully near a Northern human village - Avias and Callon with their only daughter Desoto. Desoto was already 2 years old, when the humans obviously mistook an attack by some straying dogs for the wolves, and started the hunt for fear out of the blue.

Callon knew there was only one chance, when the humans came nearer with fire and guns. He turned and faced them, distracting them so that Avias and Desoto could escape. The two females reached the forest... they waited for Callon to come back... but in vain.

Exhausted and with hearts full of nightmares and pain, Desoto and her mother started travelling the Northern Lands towards South, where Avias remembered a safe place from her childhood. They passed large forests and endless dusty areas. After several days of travelling, they finally reached the dried-out river bed Avias remembered, which was also the entry to the large Eru Canyon. The river bed lead them right to a rich, dark forest - the "Bear Forest".
A new beginning... They decided to stay at this place, as there was plenty of food, clean water, and no smell of humans.

Unfortunately, Bear Forest wasn't the very safe place Avias remembered...
